The artist behind the work

Theo paints cinematic, light-filled scenes that feel both timeless and deeply personal. Based in his studio in Larnaca, Cyprus, he draws on influences from Hopper, Vettriano and film noir to create paintings that tell quiet, compelling stories.

Every work begins as an original oil painting, painted here in Larnaca. Each painting is also available as a hand signed fine art print, individually signed by Theo in the studio before it leaves for its new home.

Latest painting from the studio, Mercedes At Dawn

Early morning, the sun just breaking through, and a grey open-top Mercedes cruises along an empty stretch of the Palm Tree Promenade, framed by backlit palms and Larnaca's iconic lampposts. The colour palette muted, to match the light.
Behind the wheel, a mysterious blonde driver in sunglasses, her bright scarf catching the wind — a touch of Audrey Hepburn against the grey morning sky. To the left, a lone swimmer emerges from the sea, her early morning routine already done.
