What do you like best about Cyprus?

For our June competition tell us what you like best about Cyprus and you can win this framed fine art print of the Lace Maker, signed by the artist.

We love our competitions and we hope you do too.

This month we are giving away the above featured framed and hand signed fine art print of The Lace Maker. The image features a glimpse into the village of Lefkara, with a young woman at her craft. The painting is part of our collection of Cyprus Life & Traditions.
To enter, leave a comment below telling us what your favourite thing or pastime is about Cyprus.
A couple of lines would be perfect. Every post here in this blog will be entered into this draw.
The draw closes on the 10th of June. A random winner will be drawn out of a hat and announced here in this blog.

Good Luck!

And the winner is... John Brennan with his comment:

''Sitting in the coffee shop, drinking coffee, practising my Greek and watching AEK Larnaca on the TV.''

Congratulations John !

I love the old traditions that Cyprus continues with, its family ways, its beautiful people and stunning scenery. Always so welcoming, what is there not to love!

The lovely thing about Cyprus is the people, culture and history. A visit to Lefkara to see the ladies lace making traditional tablecloths is so inspiring and admirable. Hours of work put in and pattern passed down through generations. Cypriot food is wonderful….especially beef stefado!

Love the way I am always welcomed back by the local Cypriot villagers as if I have never been away.
