Win this original watercolour sketch for Easter

We don't have an Easter egg for you, but to brighten your day during these challenging times, we are holding another competition.

We are giving away this watercolour sketch of The Reader.

The Reader watercolour, image size 40cm x 32cm

The Reader is a recent watercolour study, featuring a solitary woman enjoying her favourite book.
Perhaps you have picked up a new book or revisited an old favourite these days to take your mind of the current uncertainties?

We would like to know which book brightened your day, recently or in the past. Tell us here in this blog and we will enter you into a draw to win Theo's watercolour sketch of The Reader.

How to enter the free draw

Simply leave a comment below with your favourite book recommendation, and why the book is important to you.

A winner will be drawn on Easter Sunday, the 10th of April and announced here in this blog. Good luck!

CONGRATULATIONS TO TINA ADAMIDOU our winner of this competition.
Her book recommendation: Bitter Lemons by Lawrence Durrell

My mum had this book as a child. Her copy of the book was fully illustrated and throughout my early years I craved this book. I will never forget the day she gave me this book and I read it as my own.

Playing Beatie Bow. I read this as a teen and always remember it as a favourite. I loved the way you are lured back in time and feel a part of the story.

To Sir with Love ❤️ Written by E.R Braithwait. True story. This book teaches us that even those who seem most undeserving of anything deserve to be given a chance and be treated with respect. Have read it so many times and watched the movie over and over again. Love it❤️

My favourite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen! I love it because it is witty with lovely characters and the issues it explores are very much relevant today! Thank you so much for this opportunity to win and how lovely to see so many recommended books!
