Win this original watercolour sketch for Easter

We don't have an Easter egg for you, but to brighten your day during these challenging times, we are holding another competition.

We are giving away this watercolour sketch of The Reader.

The Reader watercolour, image size 40cm x 32cm

The Reader is a recent watercolour study, featuring a solitary woman enjoying her favourite book.
Perhaps you have picked up a new book or revisited an old favourite these days to take your mind of the current uncertainties?

We would like to know which book brightened your day, recently or in the past. Tell us here in this blog and we will enter you into a draw to win Theo's watercolour sketch of The Reader.

How to enter the free draw

Simply leave a comment below with your favourite book recommendation, and why the book is important to you.

A winner will be drawn on Easter Sunday, the 10th of April and announced here in this blog. Good luck!

CONGRATULATIONS TO TINA ADAMIDOU our winner of this competition.

A Good Year by Peter Mayle.
It’s my go to book when I need a pick me up, it reminds me of the good times I had growing up in the countryside.

My book is by Archimandrite Sophrony (Sakharov) – WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS.
Very apt for Easter. The book relates to the spiritual journey that Archimandrite Sophrony traveled. I found this book when I visited the Stavropegic Monastery of St John Baptist, Essex, England. It made me stop and think about my own life.

Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier.
A classic read I recommended to our U3A Larnaca Book Group. Shame we couldn’t review at what should have been our monthly meet up today as I was going to provide a jamaican ginger cake as its my birthday
